Research fields

Our research group interest is to develop the catalytic reactions over micro- or mesoporous materials such as zeolite and mesoporous silica, of those quite unique characters such as a uniformed pore (aperture), a large surface area and a solid acidity are expected for a versatile and a promising CATALYST or CATALYSIS to envisage the environmental benign chemical processes or reactions. Thus, we have been investigated the new designed green and clean catalytic reactions utilizing them based on the concept of GREEN SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY. We are also interested in the synthetic strategy of porous materials for highly functionalized catalyst and/or catalysis.
Our recent interests are, for examples,
・Synthesis of the novel zeolite form the layered silicate and its application to catalyst
・Highly efficient and environmental benign amidation reaction using mesoporous silica catalyst
・Novel zeolite synthesis
・Fine chemicals synthesis by porous materials, etc.
Further, we will investigate the interest, green, clean, economic and attractive catalytic reactions as an alternative to conventional reactions.
