Research fields
My research focuses on design of particles and control of their
dispersibility. For example, skeletal silica nanoparticles, cubic-shaped
particles with 12 silica nanoframes, exhibit much higher light
scattering performance as compared to dense silica nanoparticles, due to
lots of scattering sites derived from refractive index difference
between the silica frame and air inside the particles. What I used here
is only silica, which is very familiar material, however, precise
structure control could bring out unique functions.
