Outline

In the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering, students can acquire both fundamental and specialized skills to deal with practical issues in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering, informatics, and applied physics.

The Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering consists of three fields: (1) the field of electrical and electronic engineering that works to develop and meet the demands of electronics, electric energy, telecommunications, and other industries included in such fields; (2) the field of informatics that researches and develops cutting-edge technologies leading to the next generation; and (3) the field of applied physics that actively seeks to pioneer the next-generation technologies. These fields are of very high importance since they serve as the basis for modern engineering. In this department, students will engage in various information-gathering methodologies in pioneering new research fields as well as acquire both hardware and software knowledge in order to create, make judgments, pursue subjects creatively, and solve problems.
