The Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering consists of three fields: (1) the field of electrical and electronic engineering that works to develop and meet the demands of electronics, electric energy, telecommunications, and other industries included in such fields; (2) the field of informatics that researches and develops cutting-edge technologies leading to the next generation; and (3) the field of applied physics that actively seeks to pioneer the next-generation technologies. These fields are of very high importance since they serve as the basis for modern engineering. In this department, students will engage in various information-gathering methodologies in pioneering new research fields as well as acquire both hardware and software knowledge in order to create, make judgments, pursue subjects creatively, and solve problems.
