Laser and energy research topics are mainly studied. Target injector and laser-beam sterring are researched with domestic and overseas research institutions for Inertial Fusion Energy; Laser Fusion. Applying laser technology for laser measurement and laser processing, we colaborate with research institutions and companies. Research and development of three dimensional non-contact measurement, cutting and welding of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), and surface treatment of metal are recently carried out.
The operation of photovoltaic (PV) modules and fuel-cells, forecasting power generation of PVs, forecasting power demand, and weather observation by a laser-rader (LIDAR) are studied as smart-grid related researches.
