Environmental and Disaster Reduction Design Course

Outline

In the Department of Civil Engineering, we offer an Environmental and Disaster Reduction Design course, where students broadly and systematically learn the theories and techniques required to survey, plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain social infrastructure facilities. This is done with the aim of creating a regional society that can achieve sustainable development while coexisting and harmonizing with the natural environment and ensuring safety and security against disasters.

In our department, after acquiring basic knowledge and specialized skills in the major fields of civil engineering, such as structural engineering, civil engineering materials, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, infrastructure planning, and environmental sanitary engineering, we provide education that enables the application and practical implementation of these specialized skills.
