Research fields
We are developing energy management technologies with the intention of improving 'quality', 'reliability', 'stability', 'safety', 'efficiency', and 'sustainability' in operations and planning of electric power grids. Major topics of recent our laboratory are as follows:
- Efficient energy supply-demand management in smart energy systems considering penetration of variable renewable energy sources.
- Design method for basis of demand-side management.
- Lifetime estimation of components in electric power distribution systems using massive records of their inspection and maintenance.
- Reconfiguration of electric power distribution networks harmonizing with nature-affected generation systems.
