On March 25, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering held its annual Recognition Ceremony for Outstanding Academic Achievement, in conjunction with the doctoral graduation ceremony. This event honors students whose academic performance stands as an exemplary model for their peers and inspires excellence within the faculty.
During the ceremony, awards and commemorative gifts were presented by Dean Yoshihiko Uematsu, who also serves as Dean of the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology and the Graduate School of Engineering. In total, 15 undergraduate students (with one absence), 6 master's students, and 3 doctoral students were recognized for their exceptional achievements.
At the same event, the president's commendation for top academic performance was also conferred during the graduation ceremony. The recipients included 3 students from the Faculty of Engineering, 3 from the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology (Engineering Division), and 1 from the Graduate School of Engineering.
